Speed Cameras are speed enforcement systems featured in Emergency Hamburg, that penalise speeding players. They are located across the map, and issue fines to players who drive over the speed limit.
They were originally introduced in the Version 0.5.0 Update in May 2022.
There are currently 2
types of speed cameras in-game.
Fixed speed cameras are permanently placed in specific locations across the map - they appear in the same location on every server.
Each of the 3
fixed camera locations includes two cameras, one on either side of the road, resulting in a total of 6
fixed cameras in each server.
These cameras are capable of detecting vehicles from all directions, unlike the mobile speed cameras.
Mobile speed cameras change their position in every server, and can be located throughout the map.
There are 4
mobile speed cameras located in each server.
Unlike the fixed speed cameras, these cameras only detect vehicles that are travelling towards them.
For civilians, a speeding fine is issued when a vehicle is travelling at least 10%
over the speed limit. The fine amount increases with the level of speeding, with a maximum fine of € 400.
Players with jobs, such as police officers or firefighters, will lose 2 - 10 CP depending on how fast they were going. Conduct points affect the amount of XP a player receives at the end of their shift.
