Matrix Compatability
Please note that not all vehicles support the new matrix board system - this is not a bug!
The Matrix Board is a customisable visual display featured in Emergency Hamburg, available on most job vehicles across the police department, fire department, ADAC, and all admin vehicles.
Matrix boards can be controlled via the vehicle application on the in-game phone, which allows players to cycle through various display options.
¶ Mechanics
The matrix board system automatically adapts based on the vehicle type, and lightbar configuration.
Larger vehicles will use an alternate matrix configuration, with the matrix displays positioned on the front and rear windows to ensure the matrix board is visible.
If a vehicle lacks a lightbar, the matrix board is positioned in the front and rear windows, similar to undercover vehicles. For vehicles equipped with a lightbar, the placement of the matrix board depends on the lightbar model:
¶ Matrix Configuration
Zirkon Lightbar
The Zirkon lightbar supports both front and rear matrix displays. As the default lightbar for marked police vehicles, it allows players to use the matrix board system immediately, without having to purchase an alternate lightbar.
DBS 4000 Lightbar
The DBS 4000 also supports both front and rear matrix displays. It can be purchased from the tuning garage as a more modern alternative to the Zirkon lightbar.
DBS 5000 Lightbar
The DBS 5000 does not support an integrated matrix board, and instead uses the undercover style matrix configuration, with matrix displays positioned on the front and rear windows.
Undercover Vehicles
Undercover police vehicles do not have a lightbar, and instead use an alternate matrix configuration, with the matrix displays positioned on the front and rear windows.

There are currently 10 rear matrix options, and 2 front matrix options.
