¶ Overview UPDATED!
Vehicle Tuning is a gameplay feature in Emergency Hamburg that allows players to customise the appearance and performance of their vehicles at the tuning garage.
The feature was originally introduced in the Version 3.10.0 Update in April 2025.
¶ Customisation & Repairs
At the tuning garage, players can repair their vehicles and choose from a variety of customisation options, ranging from visual modifications to performance upgrades, including engine, brake, and armour improvements.
Players can select multiple modifications before confirming their purchase. The cost of all selected changes is combined into a single total which is paid in one transaction.
¶ Upgrades & Downgrades
Players can upgrade or downgrade their vehicle's engine, brakes, and armour. The cost or refund depends on the difference between the vehicle's current upgrade level and the newly selected level.
When upgrading to a higher level, players only pay the price difference between their current level and the desired level, rather than the full cost.
Example
Upgrading an engine from Level 3 to Level 5 costs the difference between the original prices of the two levels
Players who downgrade to a lower level receive a partial refund based on the price difference between their current level and the newly selected level.
The refund is always equivalent to 50% of the price difference.
¶ Modifications
¶ Rim Colour
Players can customise their vehicle's rim colour by choosing from 10 preset colours.
Players who own the advanced tuning gamepass have access to unlimited colour options, allowing them to select a specific colour using a colour picker or by entering a custom HEX code.
Each colour change costs 2 000 €, reduced to 1 000 € for players who own the gamepass.

Players can customise their vehicle's colour by choosing from 23 preset colours.
Players who own the advanced tuning gamepass have access to unlimited colour options, allowing them to select a specific colour using a colour picker or by entering a custom HEX code.
Each colour change costs 1 000 €.

¶ License Plate
License Plate Censoring
Some license plate combinations may be censored due to Roblox's moderation system. This is out of our control.
Players can customise their vehicle's license plate for 4 000 €. Custom license plates must follow the specified format:
- AB CD 00
Custom license plates must comply the Roblox Terms of Service. Using inappropriate text or attempting to bypass the censorship system may result in moderation action.
¶ Engine Upgrades
Players can improve their vehicle's performance and acceleration by upgrading its engine to increase its horsepower. There are 6 engine levels, each providing an additional 15 HP, up to a maximum increase of 90 HP at Level 6.
The cost of each upgrade doubles with every level.
Engine levels 4 - 6 are exclusively available to players who own the advanced tuning gamepass.
¶ Brake Upgrades
Players can improve their vehicle's braking performance by upgrading its brakes, increasing braking force and reducing stopping distance for quicker braking.
There are 6 brake levels, each providing an additional 100 BF, up to a maximum increase of 600 BF at Level 6.
The cost of each upgrade doubles with every level.
Engine levels 4 - 6 are exclusively available to players who own the advanced tuning gamepass.
¶ Armour Upgrades
Players can improve their vehicle's durability by upgrading its armour, increasing its resistance to damage. Upgrading vehicle armour reduces the damage received by players, and the damage to the vehicle itself.
There are 6 armour levels, each providing an additional 5% durability, up to a maximum increase of 30% durability at Level 6.
The cost of each upgrade doubles with every level.
Armour levels 4–6 are exclusively available to players who own the Advanced Tuning Gamepass.
¶ Suspension
Players can adjust the suspension level of their vehicles, allowing them to change their ground clearance. There are 5 suspension levels available, and each can be applied to any vehicle.

Suspension levels were originally introduced in the Version 3.14.0 Update, in March 2026.
¶ Rims
Players can customise their vehicle's appearance by purchasing a rim design. Rims can be applied to all vehicles, with the exception of motorcycles.
There are a total of 11 available rim designs.

Players can customise their vehicle's appearance by purchasing a spoiler.
Spoilers can be applied to most vehicles, with the exception of motorcycles and quads.
There are a total of 14 available spoiler designs, excluding original spoilers.
¶ Extendable Matrix
The Extendable Matrix is a tuning option available for most vehicles used by the following teams:
It can be purchased from the Tuning Garage for 8 000 € , and equipped via the 'Roof' tab when customising your vehicle.
Players can choose from a variety of matrix displays, which are selectable through the Vehicle application on the in-game phone.
Currently, there are 29 different matrix variations.
¶ Other Modifications
¶ Flashers
Flashers are exclusive to emergency service vehicles; when activated, they emit blue strobe lights, similar to the standard lightbar.

¶ Lightbars
Lightbars are available for most marked vehicles, used by police officers, car mechanics, and firefighters. However, undercover vehicles can not be equipped with lightbars.
There are currently 3 available lightbars in-game.
¶ Roof Indicators
Roof indicators are available for all marked vehicles, used by police officers, car mechanics, and firefighters. However, undercover vehicles cannot be equipped with roof indicators.
